The Shadow Never Lies was published on the occasion of the homonymous exhibition that took place at the
Shanghai 21st Century Minsheng Art Museum from April to July 2016.
The bilingual, Chinese English catalogue, includes contributions by Wang Dan, Wang Min'an, Karen Smith, and a preface written by Gan Zhiyi. It also contains extensive documentation on the exhibition and colour reproductions of works by the participating artists.
