Once Again... Statues Never Die part of Other People Think—A Selection from the Wemhöner Collection
A five-screen version of Isaac Julien's Once Again... Statues Never Die is part of the exhibition Other People Think—A Selection from the Wemhöner Collection.
With Other People Think—A Selection from the Wemhöner Collection, Marta Herford is presenting the first comprehensive exhibition of works from the art collection of family entrepreneur Heiner Wemhöner in his home town of Herford, which now numbers around 1,800 exhibits.
Curated by museum director Kathleen Rahn, the show presents a selection of around seventy works by twenty-five artists and highlights the dialogue between the works as well as between the artworks and the architecture of the museum, which was designed by Frank Gehry.
The catalogue Other People Think by Marta Herford accompanying the exhibition will be published in July 2025.
