Isaac Julien in the Monopol's Top 100

Isaac Julien was placed 11th on the list of the Top 100 most important figures in the art world compiled by the influential German art magazine Monopol.

The Monopol magazine praised "Isaac Julien's ambitious film installations that have, since the 1980s, combined profound and critical discourse with the aesthetics open to experimentation" and have emphasized the importance of his survey show at K21 in Düsseldorf.
