American Academy in Rome 2023 New York Gala

On Thursday, November 2 Isaac Julien was honored by the American Academy in Rome as part of their 2023 New York Gala.
Isaac Julien was a resident of the American Academy in Rome in 2016 and he was awarded an honorary medal in this year's Gala that was introduced by an art historian and Harvard University Professor Sarah Lewis, and featured a performance by a composer and musician Laurie Anderson.
