Isaac Julien solo exhibition at MAXXI, Rome

Organised by the Museo Nazionale delle Arti del XXI Secolo (MAXXI, Rome), the first European presentation of full-scale Lina Bo Bardi - A Marvellous Entanglement will include not only the nine-screen film installation but also a programme of fims and other moving image works, offering a panoramic segment of Isaac Julien's career.

Alongside visual interventions created in dialogue with the museum's architecture, the exhibition presents the creative process behing A Marvellous Entanglement and an array of historical information about the Italian-Brazilian architect who inspired the series.
