New photocollages at Jessica Silverman Gallery

Basing its premise on the theme of animism, Jessica Silverman Gallery's online group show Conversational Spirits II includes two new photocollages by Isaac Julien from his series Lina Bo Bardi - A Marvellous Entanglement (such as Resurrection, 2020, here pictured alongside Matthew Angelo Harrison's tridimensional piece).
Associated with the worship of nature and the rise of subordinate souls, animism is a theme broadly relevant to a time in which equal rights, ecology and biochemistry are serious concerns.
