MACBA celebrating three decades of an iconic artwork
As a special edition of programme Focus, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Barcelona is celebrating the 30 years of Isaac Julien's Looking For Langston with a four-day event, featuring screenings and public talks. The programme also features Young Soul Rebels (1991), Frantz Fanon: Black Skin White Mask (1996) and Derek (2008).
The talks and Q&A sessions include the participation of the artist, curator Tany Barson and theoretician Mark Nash. Held from 9 to 12 of January 2020, the programme is organised in association with Filmoteca Española and Tabakalera International Centre for Contemporary Culture.
